In this class we will discuss the following:

2. What is an ethical dilemma?
3. Specific dilemmas in the massage profession, including:
• Dismissal of a client
• Referring of a client
• Misunderstandings in the massage room
• Power differential
• Transference and counter-transference
• Other defense mechanisms
4. A model for resolving ethical dilemmas
Please feel free to bring with you any ethical conflicts you may currently be having in your practice. Gayla will do her best to address those issues. This class will be taught through lecture, discussion, class interaction, role play, power point, and video.
